Watershed Planning Commission

The Scott WMO Watershed Planning Commission is a seven (7) member Commission. District coverage includes, one representative from the Shakopee Basin/Prior Lake Spring Lake area, one from Credit River, one from Southwest, two from Sand Creek (because of its large area) and two at-large members. The WPC gives oversight on policy issues; budget, plan and program priorities; advisory support for the WMO Board; utilizes and implements the Comprehensive Water Resource Management Plan, which includes the Groundwater Protection Plan (incorporated by reference).
