HUMAN SERVICES RESOURCE COUNCIL

The Resource Council participates in the formation of the Strategic Plan for the development, implementation and operation of programs and services of the County Board, makes recommendations concerning the annual budget of the Health and Human Services Division; develops and recommends to the County Board, human services programs, needs, priorities, goals, and objectives; receives, reviews, and comments on special interest group and community at-large input regarding Human Services plans, programs, service and performance. The Resource Council was formed pursuant to Minnesota Statute 402.03. The committee meets quarterly, on the third Monday at 7:00 p.m.

The Resource Council has 15 members (pursuant to statute). There are three representatives from each Commissioner District. Members serve two-year terms, and are eligible to serve three terms.
