Flood Recovery Information: Road Closures

Scott County experienced historic rainfalls on June 19, 2014 which caused extensive flooding throughout the county, primarily in the Minnesota River Valley. Several roads were damaged and closed due to flooding, many of which have since reopened.  However, a number of roads remain closed due to severe damage.  The County is working with MN/DOT, FEMA, and FHWA to secure disaster funding that helps cover a portion of clean up and repair costs.

This page will be maintained to provide an update on road closures due to flooding.  Individual pages have been set up for the roads that experienced extensive damages, and the links are provided below.




  • CH 9 - river crossing - NOW OPEN

  • CH 21 - between TH 13 and CH 82 - NOW OPEN
  • CH 66 - between CH 59 and TH 169 - NOW OPEN
