  • ​The National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials recently awarded three County organizations, FISH, First Stop Shop, and Homeownership Program, with Awards of Merit. The groups were recognized by the Scott County Commissioners for their success.
  • ​Eight regional public health departments in the Twin Cities area, including Scott County, are conducting a voluntary, confidential survey to help determine the health status and needs of the community. Watch for a mailed invitation or participate online.

  • ​Effective October 1, 2014 the Minnesota Department of Revenue will no longer be accepting paper Certificate of Real Estate Values (CRV’s.)  E-CRV is being implemented as an electronic replacement to the paper CRV form.  Land Record documents submitted with a paper CRV will be rejected and will be required to be resubmitted with an E-CRV.
  • The intersection of County Highway 2 and County Highway 46 will close beginning September 2nd as a roundabout is being constructed. It is expected the roundabout will be substantially completed and open for the traveling public by the end of October 2014.   • Agricultural producers who are seeking ways to solve natural resource problems on their farms should apply now for assistance through the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP). Deadlines for Fiscal Year 2015 are Oct. 17, Nov. 14 and Dec. 19.​
