2030 Comprehensive Plan Implementation
(Updated January 8, 2013)
Comp Plan Amendments
The Board of Commissioners adopted minor amendments to the 2030 Comprehensive Plan on December 18, 2012. These amendments provided updates based on changes to the regional parks system plan. The amendments and entire 2030 Comp Plan can be viewed on the 2030 Plan Document page.
PUD/Public Values Incentive Program
A major implementation strategy of the 2030 Comp Plan was the creation of a new, more flexible development track. With the adoption of the Planned Unit Development (PUD) Ordinance, applications and development review meetings are now being accepted for the voluntary Public Values Incentive Program. Go to the Public Values Incentive Program development page for more information.

The Twin Cities metropolitan area (shown in green on the map) is expected to continue growing in the future. Scott County is projected to reach a population of 221,770 residents by 2030.
