Prosecution Association (SJPA)

SJPA prosecutes all misdemeanors and gross misdemeanors that occur in the cities of Shakopee, Prior Lake, Savage, Jordan, Belle Plaine, and Elko New Market.

As a result of a joint powers agreement, SJPA works jointly with the Scott County Attorneys Office and works under the direction of the Scott County Attorney, Pat Ciliberto. SJPA prosecutors and Assistant County Attorneys work closely together to effectively and efficiently prosecute crimes occurring in SJPA’s six member cities.
