Criminal Division
This division prosecutes adults charged with felony crimes, as well as misdemeanor and gross misdemeanors that occur in the unincorporated areas of the County and other limited areas as defined by statute.
If you get a subpoena read it carefully. The subpoena will tell you when and where to appear. It may also inform you of any additional items and documents you must bring. If you have any questions call the telephone number on the subpoena. The letter accompanying the subpoena also gives a number to call to find out if you should come to court on the day of a trial. Additionally, the County Attorney’s Office also has a Victim/Witness Coordinator who can answer questions about court appearances and processes.
For Victim/witness information-no contact orders, restitution, court appearances, etc. call 952-496-8242
If you have a subpoena and need to know if you should show up for court, please call the Witness Hotline as stated in the letter that came with your subpoena. 952-496-8600.
If you know someone who is violating their probation, call the probation department, known as Community Corrections at 952-496-8260
