Mail

• All inmate mail must be sent through the U.S. Mail.
• Mail must be addressed using the inmate’s full name.
• All incoming and out going inmate mail is searched.
• Inmates may receive money orders payable to “The Scott County Jail for the account of (inmate’s name)”. All money orders will be credited to the appropriate inmate’s account.
• Any cash received will be credited to the appropriate inmate’s account.
• Inmates are not allowed to receive packages, contraband items, or pornographic materials.
