If a suspect is recognized, citizens should call 9-1-1 or the Scott County Sheriff's Office non-emergency dispatch number of 952-445-1411.

Individuals with current information on these or any person with a Scott County warrant can call Deputy Dennis Tietz at 952-496-8724 or email dtietz@co.scott.mn.us.  Callers may remain anonymous.  Don't attempt to apprehend individuals on your own.  In an emergency, always dial 9-1-1.

A warrant authorizes a law enforcement officer to arrest a person who:

  • Is charged with a crime,
  • Is convicted of a crime but failed to appear for sentencing,
  • Owes a fine, or
  • Is in contempt of court.
