Grant Name:         State Boat & Water Safety Grant to Counties

Type:                      Legislatively-directed appropriation

Purpose               

Preventing or reducing boating accidents and drownings and making Minnesota's waters safe and enjoyable.  This includes boating law enforcement, aids to navigation, response to and investigation of boating accidents/drownings, search, rescue and recovery operations, permitting of events and temporary structures and rental boat inspections.
