This project is in progress.
S.M. Hentges is the bridge contractor and is currently working on the grading to the new bridge approaches. Completed pile driving and now working on footings and abutments. CH 8 will remain closed and detoured between CH 15 and TH 21 until the completion of the new bridge.
The completion date has not been established.

| Message from the City of Prior Lake |
Chard Tiling is installing two 2" above ground temporary water lines on Spring Lk Rd from Monroe Ave to Lime Rd. The two lines are fed off of the hydrant at Monroe Ave & Spring Lk Rd. The temporary lines will allow them to provide water service to homes while they remove and replace underground utilities in the street. 3020, 3040, 3050, and 3070 Creekview Cir, 2958, 2972, 2977, 2986, 2987, 3003, 3013, 3019, 3031, 3044, 3051, 3063, 3068, 3091, 3111, 3124, 3133, 3141, 3144, and 3160 Spring Lk Rd and 16991 and 16994 Monroe will be serviced off of the two 2" temporary water lines. Once the lines have been filled with water and tested, representatives from Chard Tiling will begin working with the residents to make the switch over to the 2"temporary water lines.
Chard anticipates making the temporary water switch over on Friday 8/27 and beginning the underground utility work on Monday 8/30.one at this time.

CH 12 is closed to thru traffic. Please adhere to posted detours as indicated in the map above.
The road build for CH 12 from the West end to Northwoods is awaiting the curb crew. City utility work is expected to start from Monroe to Lime St. on Aug. 30th. On the east end, work will continue behind the curbs, this will require construction equipment and vehicles to be active on the sides of the road, please use caution and watch for workers.
The completion date is September 2, 2011.

This intersection is closed to all traffic until the afternoon of September 3rd.
The sub layers of Asphalt have been placed and trails and walks are being paved.
Sept. 2 - Final paving.
Sept. 3 - Striping, then open to traffic.
Work will continue on site after Sept. 3rd so please be aware of construction vehicles and personnel.
A full closure of the intersection will remain for the duration of the project.
The completion date is September, 2010.

The contractor is installing storm sewer between CR 42 and CR 16. Work is also being performed on the bus ramp at the entrance to TH 169. Southbridge Parkway/Pike Lake Road has been re-opened.

County Highway 86 is Closed from the new TH 19 Roundabout to CH 27 (Texas Avenue) to thru traffic; only local traffic is permitted. Rice County Highway 96 at Scott County Highway 86 is closed as well to thru traffic.
Paving operations are in progress and should last for the next week. Please use caution navigating this area.
All construction is expected to be completed in September 2010.

This project is in progress.
Valley Paving has completed the bituminous overlays on CH 8 and CH 64. Shouldering and lane markings should be completed by the end of July. CH 23 and CH 42 overlays are scheduled to be paved in late August. Due to the volume of traffic on CH 42, that overlay will begin Monday Aug 23rd, at night between the hours of 8:00 pm and 6:00 am.
