positional quality on a map or a computer screen, via a system of hardware,
software, and geographic data.

GIS On-Line Mapping Services
ScottGIS
Interactive Mapping Application - The new ScottGIS Interactive Mapping Application provides
advanced functionality such as enhanced drawing tools, custom parcel buffer selection and more
robust measuring distance/area tools. We recommend you read the "Help Overview" and "Frequently
Asked Questions" sections which are listed under the "Help" menu after you load the application.
They provide a good overview of the tools and will answer some of your initial questions. If you
have additional questions or problems using the application, please contact the
GIS Staff and we will be
happy to assist you.

Provides on-line access to all mapping data, including aerial photography,
contours, parcels & roads available for Scott County.
